Advice, por favor

Does anybody have the answer to how to make yourself get out of bed in the morning?

I know, I know, it has to be motivation that comes from within. I just need to find an alarm clock that will play an unbearably loud noise, followed by turning on the light and TV in my bedroom. Is there an app for that?

I have had the best of intentions this week to get out of bed by 5am and run in the mornings.

Alas, it hasn't happened.

Starting next week, I will have to get my daughter to Driver's Ed by 7am every morning to drive. How will I ever do that and run too?

All it takes is one time and a good run.
If I can get up once then the rest of the week is easier! Its such a high after that your body will be craving it the next morning but beware if you lapse too much time, you have to start over again!

I have to force myself to go to bed earlier if I have ANY hope of getting up to run. Good luck though. It's NOT easy.

Put the alarm clock across the room?

As far as the lights and such, you can use X10 home automation to do that.. pretty cheap, and it does work. :P

I've turned my alarm clock off soo many times! But when I go to bed early and get a good night's sleep, I'm better about waking up early. Good luck!

i am the last person to comment on this as I have such a hard time. I work at home now, so if it wasn't for having to get my son ready and out the door, i'd be getting out of bed a minute before I need to start! Good luck :)

The only time I get out of bed early to run is if I'm meeting someone. If I'm left to myself, it'll never happen...

the law. Says we have to have the kid at school by 8 and 8 it is. No alarm clock would do that to me

If you find the answer let me know.
I have tried waking up in the clothes I will run in...no go.
I can sleep through anything, so lights and sounds do nothing.
